Spent New Year's Eve in a secluded hotel, offering breathtaking views of the lake. The family running the hotel was helpful and courteous, offering an upgrade to a comfortable and modern room. The private beach garden was the best spot to soak in some sun and take a swim in the crystal-clear water.

The isolation of the hotel was a big letdown. Public transportation was infrequent, and the road leading to the hotel was narrow and winding, making it unsafe to walk at night.
